Windows 10: Win11 coming out of hibernate by itself

Win 11 Home v. 23H2I've been using hibernate recently past 2 months. Occasionally I'll turn the PC on in the morning and find that browsers, folders and/or files have been closed.I recently had a late night and saw that my PC was waking from hibernate by itself. The screen would flash it's usual VGA info window way too fast to read and then stay black. But if I moved the mouse, everything would wake up as if just the screen was asleep. This exact late night/saw it happening scenario has happened 3x now.Now for the 2nd morning in a row, at approx. 11-11:30am I hear my PC turn itself on and

Win11 upgrade not coming

If you checked again my previous replies, you can see ASUS re-installed my new notebook a even newer Win10 Home installation. After this 2nd time installation, I only did these to the toy:

1. installed chrome
   
2. changed its display brightness
   
3. changed wallpaper
   

After your previous suggestion, the 1 month temp McAfee was gone.

I can't figure out why I can't upgrade to Win11 for such a new notebook. Newer notebook will come with Win11 natively

 

Missing hibernate button

We would like to isolate this issue that you're having right now. Will you be able to provide the exact error message that you recieved?

We suggest that you try to enable hibernation on your device using the Command Prompt.

To make hibernation available, follow these steps:

• Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
• In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
• When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
• At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate on, and then press Enter.
• Type exit, and then press Enter to close the Command Prompt window.

hibernate, but shuts down

Hello,

We suggest to manually setup hibernation on your computer. You may follow the steps below:

• Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize.
• Click Lock screen>Screen saver settings>Change power settings>Choose what the power buttons do.
  
  
• Change the settings When I press the power button, click
  hibernate.
• Click Save changes.
