    Win11 Failed startup after Oct 2023 update


    Windows did a system update yesterday. On startup the Boot Manager says Wins failed to start due to a hardware or software change and to insert the Win install disc. I don’t have one. How can I fix it?Error message:File: WINDOWS\system32\winload.EliStatus: oxc0000221Info:the header checksum for this file doesn’t match the computed checksumThis is a Dell Inspiron 5000 LaptopWindows 11

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Win11 Failed startup after Oct 2023 update

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

    I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

    I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

    I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

    Can you advise please. TIA
