Windows 10: Win11: Hebrew not displaying in some applications

My question relates to Windows 11. I recently migrated from Win7 to Win11 and I have found that two of my legacy Hebrew applications are not displaying Hebrew characters properly -- in some situations. The two Hebrew applications are digital libraries books: 1 Bar Ilan 2 Otzar Hachachma Let's start with a screenshot from the Windows TaskBar.The icon to the far left a red & white book is for Bar Ilan.As you can see, the caption to the right of the icon is in Hebrew -- so that's ok.The gold icon another book is for Otzar Hachachma.As you can see, the caption to the right of t

How to install Hebrew on Windows 10 as a display language

Let me help you to change the display language to Hebrew.



Let’s try simple steps and check is this helps. Follow the below step.

• 
  Go to the settings and click on
  Time & Language.
  
• 
  Click on Region & language and click on
  Add a language.
  
• Select Hebrew, let the language pack install, click on the
  Hebrew Language pack and click Set as default.

Clock is upside down after installing hebrew display language

Hi Yuval,

It is unusual that the clock would display that way after installing Hebrew display language.

In order to identify if this is due to a corrupted display language being installed, I suggest you to try changing the default language and check if the issue persists. Follow the steps provided below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open settings.

2. Click Time and language > Region and language

3. Click "add a new language" and choose a different language.

4. After changing to a different language, restart the computer and check again.

If that resolves the issue, remove the previous Hebrew language and re-install again.

search in hebrew

Since upgrading to Windows 10, the search feature does not recognize any input I make in Hebrew. I can not search for my files that are titled in Hebrew. I am able to type in Hebrew in every program ie Word, PowerPoint etc. Any suggestions?
