Windows 10: Win11 Home edition Microsoft surface workgroup Laptop unable to connect to Network printer

Hi Team, can I get some solution to fixing the below issueLaptop: Microsoft SurfaceOS: Win11 Home editionWe have updated the firewall setting to allow the WIFI SSID to access to the network printer.The issue is when accessing the printer and click connect - it takes quite a bit of time, and it says " cannot connect to the printer"Windows is up-to-date and the only thing I haven't done is running the windows optional updates. any other suggestions to fix this issue?Please advise.Thank you

Workgroup and Networks

Is the workgroup a subset of a network. I have 2 laptop computers and 1 wired printer which I want to be able to interface with each other . What is the best way to set up this connection? Is there a simple step by step instruction on how to set up a
connection? I am using windows 10 on 2 Dell PC's and a HP printer.

 

Network Issues

PROBLEM SOLVED​I've got a friend who has Belkin wireless G+ router and a network with one laptop hardwired, and another desktop and laptop connected wirelessly. However whenever I try and enable filesharing between them by sharing folders on the network they seem unable to "see" each other when I add them via Network Places. Can anyone give me any suggestions? (All machines are running XP)

Windows 11 laptop not able to connect to Windows 10 USB connected printer

I recently purchased a Windows 10 laptop. It was upgraded to Win11 during the setup process. I also have a Win10 desktop with a Brother HL-L2350DW printer attached via USB cable. The printer is shared over a home network. The Win11 device can see the printer but is unable to connect to the Win10 printer ((manual install/connect shared printer by name).

• The Win11 device is able to connect to and print to a wireless printer on the network.
  
• I’m able to browse to the Win10 connected printer from the Win11 device and select the printer during the "add Printer" process (name not manually entered).
  
• When installing the printer one of two error messages are received at different times.
  

Windows couldn’t connect to the printer. Check the printer name and try again. If this is a network printer, make sure that the printer is turned on and that the printer address is correct.

Windows cannot connect to printer. Operation failed with error 0x000004cf. (password protected sharing turned off)

Windows cannot connect to printer. Operation failed with error 0x0000052f. (password protected sharing turned on)

• Both devices are patched to the most current level.
  
• Drivers are the most current for the printer.
  
• Data Exception Prevention is turned off on both devices.
  
• Print Spooler Services were reset on the Win10 device.
  
• Update KB5005565 is not installed on either device. Ran the Windows Update Show/Hide Utility. Both devises had no hidden updates.
  
• Two other Win10 devices can connect to and use the printer without problems. I have no other Win11 device on the network.
