Win11 Home is installed, A Win11 Pro DVD is bought, I do not have a DVD rom, how can I do the upgrade?

Upgrade from Win11 Home to Win11 Pro with a unused Win8 Pro Key?

As the subject says. I found two old Win 8 Pro keys that I never got around to use (actually one is on a physical Win8 DVD and the other is a Win 8 Pro key I bought online back when Win8 was launched).

I was wondering if I could use one of these Win8 Pro Keys (the digital one looks a better choice, since my laptop doesn't have a DVD reader) to upgrade my current Win11 Home install to Win11 Pro.

Unexpected Empty Folders on old Backup DVDs in Win11 using external USB DVD Reader device, but not in Ubuntu

Hi.

I recently bought a USB CD/DVD reader device to access some old backup DVD disks, which I know they have data in them as I have scan them in the past. I had write these DVDs using Win7 in the past, or some of them even WinXP.

• However in Win11 some folders appear empty (without files) although they should not. Some DVDs are quite empty without being able to access files that exist there via Win11.
  
• I can still see and access some files using windows software I had, like Nero Rescue Agent - but it does not work at all with folders and files that may have non standard characters format, because this software can't create folders in windows that have symbols like "?". So these folders are completely inaccessible!
  
• I also tested the same CD/DVD reader device and these CDs in Ubuntu 20.04, and via Nautilus I can see the files normally. I can also copy the files from the non-standard character format folder, thus the DVDs and the device are pretty functional. This leads me to the conclusion that this issue is a Win11 issue.
  

So is there any way or workaround to fix this issue and access my stored files in the DVDs via windows 11 normally as I should be able to do?

Is the win11 home key keept after upgrade to win11 pro?

It probably is oem license, it came activated when i bought the pc.

If i upgrade to win11 pro and

later install win11 home (fresh install) it will activate?
