Within the drawing program CSP classical problem: straight lines at the beginning of the stroke. However the lagging occurs outside the drawing software as well. The cursor lags as it's moved.Tried to disable Windows Ink, stopped Xbox-stuff from background, changed preference settings within CSP, updated, replugged, everything I have found by Googling. It's starting to get really frustrating. For a really long time I just pushed through despite the lag, but sometimes, like today, it's just unbearable. I highly suspect it has something to do with the Windows version. Is there anything left to

    :)

Huion Kamvas Pro 16 not detected by driver

Last month I bought a Huion Kamvas Pro 16, installed the driver, and it was working perfectly. I tried again this month and suddenly my driver will not detect my driver. The screen works but I can't utilise the tablet to it's full capability without the driver. It does work on another computer I tested so we know it's not the hardware, but I we weren't able to figure out why it won't work on my computer. I have gone through Huion support and they suggested that I asked computer support instead because they believe it to be a problem with my computer.

    Things we tried:

    1. reinstalled the driver
    2. installed an older version of the driver
    3. tested different usb slots
    4. reinstalled the computer system
    5. tried to run after clean boot
    6. they sent me wintab32.dll to download and put into C:/WINDOWS/System32 and C:/WINDOWS/SYSwow64
I'm out of ideas and I just want to be able to use my tablet again!

Hi Mofenu. I'm Greg, ten times awarded Windows MVP, here to help you fix this.

    1) Try all of these troubleshooting steps for connecting the tablet to your PC:

    https://support.huion.com/en/support/solutions/...

    https://www.reddit.com/r/huion/comments/fs2wbx/...

    https://huion.freshdesk.com/en/support/discussi...

    https://manuals.plus/huion/kamvas-pro-16-manual

Since you've now tried everything to get the tablet recognized, let's focus now on finding and fixing any problems with Windows 10:

    2) See if you can System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-system-r...

System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before a problem began like a time machine. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this started.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here which I would install now so it's ready:

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

    3) Go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

    4) Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.

Updating drivers from the Device Manager or Windows Update is rarely enough. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is keep the latest manufacturer's drivers installed from their Support Downloads web page. Everything else depends on this.

    5) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, is the most stable method to advance to the latest version, and solves most problems. Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

Win11, Huion Kamvas Pro 13 Tablet laggy as a dual monitor

Huion Kamvas Pro 16 not detected by driver

    Hi Greg,

Thank you kindly for your detailed response! I still haven't been able to get the tablet to connect with the latest Huion driver, but step 5 seemed to have done something to make an older version of the Huion driver work (when none of the driver versions were working before). Since I am able to use my tablet properly, I'm not too concerned about having the latest driver so you have solved my issue!

    Once again, thank you!
