    Win11 malfunctions in photo viewer, clock, calculator, snip it, taskbar


    I no longer have functionality in the following Win11 programs: photo viewer, clock, calculator, snip it. I also cannot use the taskbar win button to conduct searches for programs or even access some of them. I've run the win update troubleshooter, restarted the machine multiple times, run anti-virus checks with no change. Pls advise on a solution.

    Replacement for photo viewer

    Win ver 19041.388

    Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

    Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

    Pretty sure the windows7 version printed too, didnt it?

    Either way,
    Or take the screenshot, save it, open it with photo viewer ,or paint & print from there. I'm a big snipping tool user, for years, ive always had it in my taskbar

    Replacement for photo viewer

    I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.
