Windows 10: Win11 Monitors wont sleep after playing a game

Figured id start a fresh thread for people who may have similar issues to me. been having issues with specifically windows 11 and my monitors never turning off after playing a game. i can use windows 10 and it isnt a issue, its only with windows 11. my best friend and my online friend both upgraded months after i did, and both have the same issue i do. in fact, anyone i know who has upgraded to 11 seems to always say "oh my god its been driving me crazy, i thought it was just me" Ive researched this since we were able to upgrade to 11 and have had this problem for months. ive tried so many dif

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
