    Win11 PC keeps restarting overnight


    I recently had to reformat my PC after I was getting a bunch of BSODs. I thought everything was running smoothly, but now every morning that I wake up my computer has restarted. So I checked the system viewer and found that it was crashing soon after I would lock my PC and go to bed. I have no idea what's causing this. I thought it was windows updates, but everything is up to date. Is even checking for updates causing the crashes?     PC Randomly Restarting after installing new Ram!

    Tried your suggestions, but still had a restart! Also ran memtest overnight (13 hours according to memtest) and had no errors! Also ran Passmark Burn in test for a couple hours testing everything and had no errors or restart. Could fitting the new ram have triggered something to go bad like my mobo or psu?

    PC restarts overnight

    Hey guys,

    I have this problem with my PC being restarted when I wake up in the morning... and I have no idea what is wrong with it.. The most recent changes I did to my PC was when I optimized my PC using the 'Windows XP Optimization Guide' stickied on this forum... I didn't make any changes to my registry though.. Anybody care to help?

    thanks that amd processor came from the listing it may be incorrect as suggested here. i do not want win11 but in a few years we all may not have much choice. so because i'm looking for the all in one type pc because for one i do not have space for a tower and where we use them we have space for laptops but the screen size is starting to be just to small. old age eyes if you know what i mean. we both now have to use the enlargement with ctrl and the scroll wheel to make text larger. so because i could not find that processor i asked here just in case i missed it as well, it kind of sounds like it is not there and so these pcs are not ready to run win11 if that happens to be the next OS requirement. thanks
