Windows 10: Win11 settings app cannot be moved by keyboard

1. Connect secondary monitor A, eg, in office2. Open settings app eg, display settings, adjust monitor A location to left of Primary3. Disconnect secondary monitor A4. Connect alternate secondary monitor B, eg, at home5. Open settings app eg, display settings, adjust monitor B location to right of Primary6. Drag settings app to secondary monitor. 7. Disconnect monitor B and reconnect monitor A8. Discover you cannot access the settings app because it's coordinates are on monitor B9. Discover settings app does not support keyboard shortcuts to move window to primary10. Discover only a reboot

• Which phone do you have?
• Which version of Windows Phone is it running?
• Which language are you using for the keyboard?
• Which app are you using for chat? Is it Messaging (SMS), Messenger (Facebook), or some other app?

To turn on text suggestions for Windows Phone 8.1, you would do the following:

• Run the Settings app
• Tap on "keyboard"
• Tap on the language being used
• Make sure the checkbox for "Suggest text" is checked

How to move apps to second hard disk?

I understand that you want to move apps to another drive. Please follow the steps and check.

• Open Settings app by either clicking Settings icon on the Start menu or using Windows + I keyboard shortcut
• In the Settings app, click System (Display, notifications, apps, power).
• On the left-pane of Settings app, click Apps & features to view all installed apps and their installation size
• Click on the app entry that you would like to move to a different drive to see Move and Uninstall options. Click Move button and then select a drive of your choice to move the app.

Note: We cannot move default apps that came preinstalled with Windows 10

Snip & Sketch - saving to Desktop sometimes works and sometimes does Not work (Win11)

On Win11 Snip & Sketch sometimes copies from the clipboard to the desktop and sometimes does Not

copy to the Desktop. The failed copies are listed in the recent action list, but when accessed Win11 gives

the error that "file has been moved"....

So I went into Settings to check that "Autocopy to Clipboard" was On

I noticed that there was also a setting for "Save Snips" which gives a confirmation

box when doing a save - so I set this to On

Somehow confirming the save seems to have fixed the problem, adding a step is a drag, but

at least now snip & sketch has been working every time
