    Win11 sound slider and brightness slider not working


    Hi there! I got this problem on my laptop for long: the sound slider and brightness slider dont work. More precisely: the animation doesnt work I can still increase/decrease brightness and sound volume, it is just the slider animation for increasing/descreasing doesnt work. How may I solve this problem? Thanks very much!

    Brightness slider

    I have followed many threads to try and get a brightness slider to no avail. Also tried an add on but couldn't get that to work either.
    Is it possible to add a brightness slider?

    Windows 10 Pro ver 21H1

    brightness slider

    Hi Rey



    I have a desktop pc with 2 external monitors and I display them as extended display.



    Should, or can, the brightness slider in the notification box show?.



    At present I have the latest windows 10 software installed on my desktop ,but no brightness slider.



    I all so have the same software installed on my 2 laptops – the brightness slider works fine.



    Does this mean the external monitors are the problem with my desktop?



    Please advise
