Windows 10: win11 steam is showing windows c++ runtime not installed despite being already installed

Discus and support win11 steam is showing windows c++ runtime not installed despite being already installed in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; i have latest update of laptop tried uninstalling and installed the prerequisites 20 times. pls help...     C windows installer folder - Delete?

    He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink win11 steam is showing windows c++ runtime not installed despite being already installed ;)
    Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
    First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
    Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

    Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Visual C++ runtime has a bad entry that will not allow me to install a good version

    The MS visual C++ runtime listed under settings, apps, shows a 2015 version that was installed in July of 2019. I don't know how or why but the underlying file is not there. When an new app attempts to install a C++ runtime it fails. When I try to modify
    or uninstall the runtime showing in settings, it shows an error message that the package is not found.

    I have updated to the latest version of windows 10 and that has not helped.

    I am considering trying to find and delete the registry key for this item. However, I really don't have the knowledge to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
