  1. Win11 Upgrade with BSOD Inaccessible

Hi, so I'm unable to upgrade directly from Win10 to Win11 I'm always getting errors at the Win10 update to Win11 that's why I just went clean install using ISO but after installing OS and updating drivers, this specific drive RAID Controller makes my pc BSOD with an inaccessible boot message upon startup/after POST. But If I leave it as is, there's no BSOD anymore. Is it normal? Should I leave it that way for now? This thing triggers my OCD. HelpI'm using AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Asus ROG Strix B550F Gaming II PNY DDR4 3200MHz - 16GB Kingston NV1 500GB PCIe M.2 NVME

    :)

  2. Win11 upgrade not coming

If you checked again my previous replies, you can see ASUS re-installed my new notebook a even newer Win10 Home installation. After this 2nd time installation, I only did these to the toy:

    1. installed chrome
    2. changed its display brightness
    3. changed wallpaper
After your previous suggestion, the 1 month temp McAfee was gone.

I can't figure out why I can't upgrade to Win11 for such a new notebook. Newer notebook will come with Win11 natively Win11 Upgrade with BSOD Inaccessible :)

  3. Win11 upgrade not coming

One good news is that MS web site tells me my PC is included in Win11 upgrade list. And MS is doing more testing to prepare it (to this effect).

    Win11 BSOD and upgrading

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help. Non techy so can't produce files. Successfully upgraded from Win10 to Win11 a couple of weeks ago and decided to start upgrading games PC. Got graphics card first but didn't improve much so now on a full rebuild. CPU, motherboard, RAM and SSD. I can't take the current SSD with me to the new build as it's key is linked to the old PC so I guessed I'd need to do a clean install or start over with a new install of Win11. I'm not sure if I used the right option but went to the Microsoft site and chose to download Win11 to an USB drive. Used a blank, newly formatted old drive, got as far as the verification of the initial file set up and began the next stage but froze at 4 percent. This then caused a BSOD. Asked the tech guys that built the PC and they said that it shouldn't do that and I must've used a drive that wasn't big enough. Instructions say 8GB and I used a 16GB. Tried again and the same happened. Tired a 1TB USB3 external drive, recently formatted and had the same thing happen. Should I have used the ISO multiple option, saw it had a 'time limit' so I was put off that one as the build will take me a while. Not built a PC for 10 years, back when we had a disc in our hands and a key on the box so a little out of my comfort zone but hey, I'll have a go. Kinda stuck, if I go ahead with the build will I end up with no OS and no way to install Win11 and or end up having to buy a new key??
