Windows 10: Win11 WIN+Number Navigate Windows Hotkey

I'm trying to use win+5,6,7,8,9,0 hotkeys to navigate open windows. A problem I'm running into is the window assigned to the number constantly changes, one time I can push win+5 and it will open the first window another time I can push win+5 and it will open the second window it almost seems like there's hidden windows causing problems.It will work fine for awhile and then change...Any solutions?

Generally WIN key is used to quickly access Start Menu or Start Screen in Windows. But you can also use WIN key in combination with another key to access other programs or features in Windows

Do you want to Disable WIN+ hotkeys or Disable WIN key completely?

To disable WIN+ hotkeys, follow the methods:

METHOD 1: Using Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)

• Press Windows key on the keyboard.
• Type gpedit.msc in RUN or Start search box and press Enter. It'll open
  Group Policy Editor.
• Now go to: User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows/File Explorer
• In right-side pane, look for "Turn off Windows+X hotkeys" option.
• The option would be set to Not Configured. Double-click on it and set it to
  Enabled

Note :To re-enable the hotkeys in feature, again set the "Turn off Windows+X hotkeys" option to
Not Configured.

METHOD 2: Using Registry Editor (regedit)

Important: This method contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added
protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge

How to back up and restore the registry in Windows

• Type regedit in RUN or Start search box and press Enter. It'll open
  Registry Editor.
• Now go to following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
• In right-side pane, create a new DWORD NoWinKeys and set its value to
  1
• Close Registry Editor and restart your system. After reboot the WIN+ hotkeys will be turned off in your system.

Note :To re-enable WIN+ hotkeys in future, delete the DWORD
NoWinKeys created in step 3.

Windows 11 Hotkey - File Explorer New Menu?

Hi, For Windows 10 'Alt+H+W' navigated to the new file menu, e.g. -

• windows - How to create a new text document (TXT) file by a Hotkey? - Super User

I can't find a way to navigate to File Explorer's New menu for Windows 11, is this possible? Using Windows 10 Home v21H2
