    Winamp working again !!!!


    Hi there

    I used to love this program --it failed on W8.1 with some sort of script error.

    Works on W10 build 10041 perfectly again. I know it's an OLD program but I really liked it and I haven't found anything nearly as good on modern apps (although VLC plays audio). It's also excellent at ripping and tagging automatically CD's - I haven't completely finished with CD's yet - but probably will soon.


    Nice to see an old favourite working again !!!

    Note there's no NEW version of Winamp --this was I think the last release - some years ago. !!!

    Nice. Nokia does Winamp.

    Can you do an update to the Installer?

    The first thing you see when starting is a nice red window saying:

    "WINAMP UPDATE"

    "Free Winamp Upgrade Available"

    "Important Upgrade: This upgrade fixes a security vulnerability present in previous Winamp versions."

    "Upgrading is strongly recommended."

    "DOWNLOAD" BUTTON

    Its pretty tedious to download Winamp from Nokia, install, oops...download *again* from Winamp, install again....

    Why not just point straight to the Winamp download image? Its not like there's any co-branding...

    PC Suite/Nokia Music Crashes Windows media Player

    After downloading, installing and running these programs yesterday I got a message saying 'Windows media player has stopped working, I haven't loaded windows media player, so presumably this is down to the music application. After I receive this message
    I can't run media player, or winamp until I restart my computer.



    After a restart if I load winamp before nokia music it plays fine, I get the error message but winamp keeps working, but if I close it and try and open it it won't load again.



    It's pretty weak that these applications are preventing other software on my computer from working, I mean it's not like media player and winamp are obscure programs.



    Has anyone else had this or know of a way to fix it.

    you did complain about this (good call), and they fixed it.

    Can you complain about the (NEW) Start, maybe they bring it back.
