Windows 10: wind back windows 10 64bit to windows 7 64bit

The reason for the wind back from windows 10 64bit to windows 7 64bit, is to get rid of the memory sapping, intrusive Co-pilot AI, Edge and news and interests. I use my desktop PC for work, not playing nerd games because I am not a child!Windows 7 64bit was the last windows that worked reliably, and I would rather use AVG, Firefox or opera etc., and have all my legacy software work.If the wind back fails, I can always use Linux, and do all my MS office work on my 20 year old laptop or my WIN98 desktop.Any advice or any pitfalls?

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit crashing on installation

So i have Windows 7 Professional 32bit installed and I wanted windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. It boots from the disk just fine, its just after you press the first button (i thing its callled install now or something) after a few seconds, it bluescreens and i have to restart. System specs are listed and i know my processoror is 64bit, any ideas?

First, Open your BIOS

second, set all setting to default (except boot priority)

third, turn off your HDD "S.M.A.R.T." capability

fourth, make sure Windows 7 DVD doesn't have any scratch on it.

fifth, try to Install your Windows 7 64bit againt.

if that's not working, post here, or best way to solve this problem, just take picture of your BSOD (with camera) and post here so we can analyze BSOD Code. *Smile

 

Windows 7 64BIT OEM

So I got this new mother board(ASUS MAXIMUS V FORMULA), my OS was good and valid. I swapped out my old Maximus V Gene as it was missing 1 pin in the CPU socket(my hobby CPU pin repair)keeps me busy and wanted to see how high I can over clock.
So in short the damn built in cooling barbs that Asus put in the Heat sinks are to small for my 1/2 ID hose, ugh! So I continue get it all together, and upon windows desk top I see I have the Three days to activate windows in my SYSTEM screen. I'm not looking for a free upgrade in fact was gonna buy Win 10, I assumed(im an ASS) that if I only swapped out 1 system item that I'd be OK? I just wanna upgrade at my own pace, when I choice to not when I'm told to. No hope huh?
I'll assume here, so where is the best place(price why's)for a Windows 10 disc or better question is what do you all suggest I get(windows 10 64bit/OEM 64bit/etc..)?
