Windows 10: Winding 2 characters not printing

Winding 2 characters do not print in a Publisher document as they appear, but print as boxes. The characters print fine in a word document. How can I fix this?

I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  From the list, locate Print Spooler service.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and select Stop.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and check if the service is started.

Unable to find print option.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 and check if it helps:

Step 1:

1. Open Photo gallery and click on the photo that you want to print.

2. Click on the file tab from the top left side of the page.

3. Next select print and again print.

you will be able to print.

If however you are unable to find the print option then follow step 2.

Step 2:

• Once the document/picture is open in, press
  Ctrl+P.
• Click Print as PDF button.
• Check if the document prints as expected.

search windows box next to start only allows 2 or 3 characters to be typed

Hi,

To isolate your concern regarding search box, kindly answer the following questions:

• Are you getting any results even you can only type 2-3 characters?
• Is the Search suggestions working?
• What happen when you exceeded 3 characters?
