Windows 10: Window 10 and One Drive

I made the mistake of placing all photos and documents on the cloud and then found that when looking for an item on another device of course all files are there. I decided since I have backup on a thumb drive I only want the photos and documents that are relevant to be available on the cloud.

> How do I undo or eliminate all the items currently on the cloud so I can start over with adding individual files. If I delete an item from the cloud it also is deleted from the doc file and placed in recycle bin. I only want the files to appear under photos and documents?

> Even by going the settings for one drive and select to unsync photos they also disappear from the pictures folder.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
