  1. Window 10 boot time is significantly slower than Win 8.1?

    Hello Everyone!
So the computer that I am using is Dell Inspiron 13 2 in 1, and the following are my details

    Processor
    5th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-5500U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.00 GHz)
    OS
    Win 10 64bit
    Memory
    8GB Single Channel DDR3L 1600MHz (8GBx1)
    Hard Drive
    500GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    Graphics Card
    Intel® HD Graphics 5500

This computer is only a week old. When I boot up the computer with win 8.1, it takes around 8 seconds. However, after the win 10 upgrade, it takes 20 to 25 sec. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks

    :)

Since Win 10 update, I cannot connect to internet (ping fails), and cant access settings! Please help me!

I tried that and it would not boot. With the thumb drive first, then the hard drive, it boots slower than normal, but it still just goes to the desktop screen with icons, but never to a screen offering me a way to reload win 10.

  4. Window 10 boot time is significantly slower than Win 8.1?

    I'm having the same issue.

Just upgraded to W10 and boot times tripled or quadrupled at best.

    Following thread for solutions.

I get about the same boot time as I did with Windows 7, but I never kept track.

I usually boot in less than a minute.
