Windows 10: Window 10 update has blocked some programs access to the internet.

Latest update of windows 10 is blocking access to the internet to programs; such as Solidworks, Auto Cad. How do I rectify that? Also Google is blocked from the internet. It is like Microsoft has become like a malware that restricts your use of your own computer! What the F$%K!!!

Unable to access internet with certain programs

I have a Compaq Presario CQ62 running Windows 10. I am unable to access the internet with a couple programs. I downloaded the update from Windows 7 to 10. Everything runs fine but HP's support program and Print Shop V22.

I googled the problem and tried some of the suggestions listed, but I still can't access the internet. I am using Firefox and it connects fine along with Norton Internet Security. Any suggestions?

No internet access

What type of security program/s do/did they have installed? I've seen McAfee and Norton both completely block internet access for no reason. Even after being uninstalled they can sometimes still block internet until you run their clean-up programs.

 

windows 10 will not allow a program I just installed to access the internet

I just updated computer from Win 7 to Win 10. All went well and everything seems OK with existing programs. I then installed 2 new programs - Family Tree Maker and Quicken Deluxe. The install went fine but the two programs need to access the internet
to register them, etc. Windows seems to be blocking access to the internet from just these two new programs. I went through the process of listing them to allow them to get through the firewall, but that does not seem to help. Something else is blocking
them, but what? The computer is connected to the internet - updates, e-mail all seem to work fine.
