Windows 10: Window 11 everything is so white/pale, how do I change this?

Hello AllI hope someone can hep.I have updated to a new PC which came with Window 11 I did not want to change anyhow I notice quite easily that everything is very white/pale in both background and words, which is very painful for my eyes. I have tried to change the theme but that made it worst, can anyone help me find a way around this please?I have used intel to change the display, but the screen is still so pale and hurty.PS. I did try going back to Windows 10 but I don't think my new PC is able to work with it, as I just got stuck on the loading screen for last two half hours at midnight

Changing the Window background colour from white to a pale colour for Windows 10

"window background colour from white to something softer", Are you referring to title bar of the window OR the white background in the file explorer, context menu etc.,?

If yes, Please be informed that this is by design and it cannot be changed from white to different color.



As this is the feature you would like to see in windows 10, you may provide your suggestions in the feedback app.

It will be directly referred by our developer’s team for further improvement.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
• If you don’t find any similar feedback, select New Feedback, and choose a topic from Select a category and then select a subcategory.
  
• Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you can, and you're done.

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

Windows 10 Action Center "pale text" on notifications

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.



This issue might occur if there is change in notification settings or display adapter is corrupt.



To assist you better, please provided us the information below:

• When you say that "Now, the Outlook 2016 notifications all appear as "pale text"", is other notification having the same pale texture or not.

I suggest you to update the latest driver for display adapter in the Device Manager and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Then type “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and hit on
Enter Key.

3. Expand Display Adapter.

4. Right click on the driver and click on Update Driver Software.
