Windows 10: Window 11 microsoft bluetooth number pad doesnt stay connected

Have followed below instruction from old post,Start the Bluetooth service and set it to Automatic:1. Press Windows key + R on the keyboard.2. Type services.msc without quotes and press Enter.3. Right click on Bluetooth support service and click on Properties.4. Set the Startup type as Automatic and then click Start under Service status.5. Click on OK.Still doesnt change anything, will disconnect or no response after minutes from window start. Window 11 64 bit

My Microsoft Number Pad Isn't Working

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

This could be a problem with pairing with Windows. Here is some troubleshooting that you can try and should fix this problem.

Step 1: Remove the device from Windows

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Devices then click on Bluetooth & other devices

3-Check that the Microsoft Number Pad is shown on the list, click on that and select Remove device and confirm

Step 2:Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Update & Security

3-Click on Troubleshoot then click on Additional troubleshooter

4-Search for the Bluetooth troubleshooter and click on that then click on Start

5-Then follow the instructions

Step 3: Connect your keyboard

1-Press and hold the pair button on the bottom of the number pad for 5 seconds or until the LED light starts to flash and enter pairing mode

2-On your Windows 10 PC, select Connect if a notification appears for your number pad, then wait for it to get set up

4-If you don't see the notification. Select Start, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other devices > Bluetooth > Microsoft Number Pad > Done

I'm trying to install a Bluetooth Microsoft Number Pad when I go to add device it shows the number pad. When clicking on it to connect it asks for a PIN, but I have no PIN for the number pad. How do you go about getting a PIN for this device?

 

Microsoft Number Pad "failed to pair"

I cannot pair my new Microsoft Number Pad to my Windows 11 computer. The "Connect" option pops up when I turn on the device but after some time it says "failed to pair". The same happens when I it try over the Bluetooth settings. I managed to pair the device to my iPad though.

I have a Dell XPS with Bluetooth 5.2, Windows Update says it is up to date, I also have the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center installed.
