    Window 11 ROG Zephyrus laptop stuttering when running any game, lag spike every 2 seconds.


    I've searched everywhere on google and edge, asked about it on reddit, etc, but I haven't found anything related. It started randomly, and one time this has happened before but without the lag spikes accompanied by it the lagging stopped for a few hours, then it started again when the screen went black, went back to the login screen, and did it over and over a few times till it stopped. This issue came out of nowhere, but there was some update the day before it started, so that may have something to do with it. I haven't tried anything to fix it as I have no idea what I could do to fix it in

    Random frame lag and gaming stuttering

    whenever I play almost any game my gpu will start to spike up and down in task manager causing really bad stuttering every few seconds, I know the gpu and cpu aren't overheating and I've upgraded the gpu drivers to the latest and downgraded them to verify but no luck, There shouldn't be any lag or stuttering because my laptop use to be able to run any game just fine but this came out of nowhere and I'm running out of ideas.

    Some more info

    I use a laptop with an i9 intel cpu and an nvidia 3050 rtx 6gb graphics card

    I've cleaned out all the vents and verified that it isn't overheating the gpu or the cpu

    I've deleted and reinstalled the graphics card drivers

    tried undervolting and overvolting the gpu

    changing the windows powerplan

    I have Asus Rog Zephyrus Duo 16. My laptop configuration is AMD Ryzen 9 7945Hx, Nvidia RTX 4080, 32gb Ram, 2Tb ssd,Windows 11 Home. My laptop suddenly lagging very much and became slow. Games are lagging and I'm getting low fps. I think Windows 11 is making some problems. Please tell me what to do.

    We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

    In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
