  1. Window 11 USB Headphones Audio Stops After 1 Minute

Why does my laptop running Windows 11 stop playing audio after 1 minute when using USB headphones *every usb headphone*? On YouTube and local audio files, the sound works for about 1 minute, then the video pauses, and when it resumes, there’s no audio. Unplugging and re-plugging the headphones temporarily fixes it, but the issue happens again. How can I fix this? *this issue happen about 2 or 3 week ago*

    :)

  2. Headphones Cause Video and Audio Playback to Stop

I performed all of the steps suggested, but still no audio when any change is made in the audio source related to the output jack -

if it's changed at all from system speaker to external speaker or to headphones, audio will stop unless the computer is restarted.

  3. headphones directional audio issue

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

It sounds like you've identified that your Razer Kraken headphones have suffered some physical damage that affects the directional audio, and you're looking for a way to make them usable by playing all audio through the working part of the headphones. Here are a few steps and suggestions you can try to achieve this:

Step 1: Enable Mono Audio and Adjust Volume

Since you mentioned that enabling mono audio makes the sounds incredibly quiet, you can try to increase the system volume and the application volume to compensate. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Enable Mono Audio:
      • Open Settings.
      • Go to Ease of Access > Audio.
      • Toggle on Turn on mono audio.
    2. Adjust System Volume:
      • Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select Open Volume mixer.
      • Ensure all volume sliders are set to maximum.
    3. Adjust Application Volume:
      • Open the application you are using (e.g., Fallout 4).
      • Go to the audio settings within the application and ensure the volume is set to maximum.

Step 2: Check Realtek Audio Console Settings

Since you have Realtek Audio Console, ensure it’s configured correctly:

    1. Open Realtek Audio Console:
      • Search for Realtek Audio Console in the Start menu and open it.
    2. Check Speaker Configuration:
      • Go to the Speakers tab.
      • Ensure that the Headphone Virtualization and Front left and right full-range speakers are configured correctly.
    3. Use Loudness Equalization:
      • Go to the Enhancements tab.
      • Enable Loudness Equalization to help balance out the audio levels.
    Step 3: Hardware Fix (Optional)

If you're comfortable with a bit of DIY, you could try to repair the headphone cable. This involves:

    1. Cutting the damaged part of the cable.
    2. Soldering the wires back together or using a new 3.5mm jack.
    3. Covering the exposed wires with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.
There are many tutorials online that can guide you through this process. However, this requires some basic knowledge of electronics and soldering.

If none of these solutions work, it might be time to consider investing in a new pair of headphones.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best regards

Window 11 USB Headphones Audio Stops After 1 Minute

Can't hear audio on bluetooth headphones even though they are connected and audio is playing

I am experiencing an issue with my Windows 11 laptop (ASUS TUF FX 505DT) when using JBL Bluetooth headphones and AirPods (I think the problem is definitely not with these headphones as they work on other laptop). Initially, both devices connect successfully and play audio without any problems. However, after a few minutes, the audio stops playing through the headphones/AirPods even though they remain connected, and the audio playback on the computer continues as if everything is normal.

The issue was present on Windows 10, but I clean installed Windows 11 and the issue is still present. Also when I turn off bluetooth on the laptop, the bluetooth button appears grey and I can't interact with it. Sometimes it returns to normal after some period or other times it completely disappears from quick settings. And in the device manager the bluetooth adapter icon has an exclamation mark and device status states the following: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

So usually I need to restart the laptop. But then again after initial work after the restart, the issue with audio repeats.

Here are the steps I've taken to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Reconnected the headphones and AirPods multiple times.
    2. Updated the Bluetooth drivers.
    3. Reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers downloaded from OEM.
    4. Restarted the laptop several times.
    5. Plugged off the charger and shut down the laptop by holding the power button
    6. Clean installed Windows 11 and installed all of the available updates
