Windows 10: Window focus changes when working on multiple monitors.

I'm having some problems after my Windows upgrade from 7 to 10, and I'm hoping someone here can point me in the correct direction.

Basically, I'm working on a multiple monitor system. When I move my mouse around the screen, windows changes the focus from the window that I'm working in (a spreadsheet for example), and starts entering data in any window i mouse-over.

I found a partial solution in the following thread.....but this only disables the window popping-up (the focus still changes).

I've not got multiple monitors to try, but a search suggested http://snippingtool.net/tips/multiple-monitors-and-prntscrn-in-windows-10 "Using
Alt with the PrntScrn key narrows down the focus of the ‘screen dump’ to the current window" is what it claims.

Yes, I tried it. Win-P does not change the input focus in any way, so Cursor Up and Enter just go to the active window (Chrome).

I did look at the multiple display settings but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. There's just one monitor.

My system has 2 monitors and I have never experienced this problem. Perhaps you have a custom mouse driver than needs fixing.

 

Maybe, as many driver issues as I've had...but it's just a generic USB Mouse...nothing special about it.

Never had a problem under Windows 7.
