    Window kept having issue like I'm holding the "Tab" key


    Hello,Currently my old laptop is having a problem where it seems like something is holding the "Tab" key. I've checked through the "On Screen Keyboard" and nothing is pressing on the "Tab" key. Below is link to a video for the issue I'm facing right now.     Tab key stopped working

    Hi Don,

    To resolve your issue, follow the steps below:

    • Press and hold Alt-key.
    • Press 0 0 9 on the numeric pad.
    • Release the Alt-key.

    This is the alternate method of getting a TAB character.

    Which build? I once saw it appear as if there was a way to lock the Alt- key, which then makes the Alt-Tab display work like the Win-Tab Task View in that it stays up without having to hold on to the modifier while you use it with cursor keys. To make
    it work I needed to use the right-Ctrl. In fact, it still works that way provided I press the Ctrl- key first. YMMV. 17134.286

    Hi there. I actually have 1803 but, as I said, I have always had it. I'm not sure what I should do with Ctrl, specifically the right one. Isn't there a way to report this to the devs too?
