Windows 10: Window Live Rescue based on Windows 10 or windows 8.0

Hello

At Work we can't yeet install Windows 10 and unfortunately sometime i have some problem to downgrade some workation.
For example last time, trying to install Windows 7 i had this error "set up was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition" .

Could you tell me if exist a Live cd like Hiren boot CD but Based on Windows 10 or Windows 8 with some utility to erase completely the disk ?

Upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8 after new hard-disk added

Hi,

I was already running Windows 10 on my laptop which was upgraded from Windows 8.1 (originally Windows 8 shipped by HP);

Then my hard-disk crashed, I tried to recover using HP recovery and was able to recover to Windows 8.0, however I found that it is regularly giving me blue screen and crashing. When I ran the bios test on HDD it is showing me Fault hence I might have to
replace my hard disk.

I have a HP rescue disk - USB - of Windows 8;

I also have created another rescue disk (Windows 10) however it was on SD-CARD which is somehow not bootable?

Now my problem is I am planning to buy new Hard-disk (or SSD), I think I should be able to install Windows 8 from my HP rescue disk on that.

However, may I know whether it would be possible to upgrade or even freshly install Windows 10 directly.

Win 10 creators - tile gadgets app won't start

Microsoft stopped including Sidebar Gadgets with the release of Windows 8.0. There are third party hacks to get it working on Windows 10, but they are not officially supported.

If thats what you downloaded, then you to either try reinstall the hacked package or accept the reality its no longer a feature of the operating system since Windows 8.0.

Gadgets have been replaced by several improvements in Windows 10 including the Action Center, Live Tiles on the Start and the Task Manager.

Both the standard Windows 10 and Windows 8 installation disks will erase the drives. When the first Windows setup screen appears, press Shift + F10. This will open a command Window. Then assuming the first drive is where you are going to install Windows to it is:

diskpart
select disk 0
clean
exit
exit

That will erase the entire hard drive. If you are not sure the drive is disk 0 you can do:

list disk

before you do select disk 0 and that will show you the drives then you can select the correct one.

Then select the custom install option and when given a list of drives, select the unallocated space to install to and click next to let Windows set up the drive the way it wants to automatically.

 

I recommend DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke) to erase all partition. open Source. Select a mirror

It help me a lot if I had same issues.

Or you can use diskpart utility.

After disabling Secure Boot and Enabling Legacy boot i tried the diskpart utility during Windows 7 installation, but was impossible to solve the problem. i still have the same error. So i thought that maybe there was some problem with the boot due to the old installation of Windows 10....i don't know...
