Windows 10: Window management issue with multiple desktops in Windows 11 example: Excel

Hello,I'm an active user of the virtual desktops feature in Windows 11, and I’ve encountered a usability issue when working with multiple instances of the same app — particularly Microsoft Excel.Here’s the situation:I have an Excel file open on Desktop 1.I switch to Desktop 2 and try to open a new Excel file.However, the new Excel window opens in Desktop 1 instead of staying on Desktop 2.This breaks the purpose of using virtual desktops for separating workflows. Ideally, a new window should open in the currently active desktop. If not by default, there should be a setting to control this behav

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

GUI Issue - Windows 7

No GUI means no start menu and desktop icons? That usually means explorer.exe isn't running. Hit ctrl+alt+del, open the Task Manager, and see if explorer.exe is in the processes list. If not, go to File -> New Task and enter the following: C:\Windows\explorer.exe

• What is the make and model of your computer and printer?
