    Window Screen Flickers when MS Edge open.


    Hello, whenever I open MS Edge- the screen flickers and goes black, why does this happens? And How can I solve it? And it mainly happens while doing any movement like typing, moving the cursor. But the screen flickers continuously and when I switch apps and go back to MS Edge- the screen turns black. Thanks.

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    Screen flickering in safe mode help!

    Hi Yasmeentq,

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
