Windows 10: Window size on Ultrawide monito

I just bought a 49" Ultrawide Monitor which is connected to a standard Dell tower. It works well, I am able to lay out my windows however I want. My issue is, every time the screen turns off or the computer goes to sleep, when I come back all the windows are full screen, so I have to lay them all out again in their correct places.

Follow the steps to change the font size:

• Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
• Select "System".
• You can change the font size here.

Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

• Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
• Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

can't adjust font size...

  Type fonts on the search bar and select it.
  
• 
  Click on change font size from the left pane.
  
• 
  Make changes according.

Two monitors connected but they show as one ultrawide

• What kind of dock did you use to connect with your Surface laptop?
  
• What is the make and model of the external monitor?
  
• What version of Windows are you currently running?
  

To separate the monitor from the ultrawide display, kindly try the following steps below.

1. On your desktop, select Display settings by doing a right-click.
   
2. Click on Detect after swiping down to the Multiple displays section.
   
3. Click the second monitor once Windows has identified it, then choose "Disconnect this display" from the Multiple displays drop-down box.
   

This should detach the monitor from the ultrawide display.
