    Window sizes of apps get reset to the original sizes.


    So I found an issue with the window sizes of apps. The window sizes of built in UWP apps, like settings, and built in OG apps, like Task Manager, and third party apps get reset to their original sizes. How do I disable this feature like using the Regedit? Thanks in advance!

    Follow the steps to change the font size:

    • Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
    • Select "System".
    • You can change the font size here.

    Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

    • Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
    • Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

    Restore Original Size of some apps in Windows 10

    I have resized some applications that I installed from the Windows store and would like to restore their original sizes. How do I do that? I read something about SIDs and the registry (related to clearing the Store application's cache) and tried that. It
    didn't work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    Font Size

    Hi Ken,

    Thank you for writing your query in Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if you are able to change the font size.


    • open Kindle app

    • Hamburger icon on the top left

    • Then select settings

    • Click on options and check if you are able to find options for font settings
    You can try this short cut by pressing Ctrl button with scrolling your mouse to zoom the screen size.
