Windows 10: Window updates say that I need to get a newer version of windows but show no updates when I...

I just got a new laptop and was updating windows but in the middle of updating, it started having errors and now downloading,0x80248007 and then it showed this screen. When I click Check for Updates, it loads for a while and then reverts back to this screen.

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

Normally if it says update for Model name it's a driver. Which you never install unless the driver is newer than yours (Like Audio/LAN etc). I only do it for Lan drivers because the company's releases drivers from 2007.2008 when Microsoft has a updated version for 2009

If it was to do with something with windows and the graphics card it would of had a name like Update for windows 7 (KBxxxxxx)

 

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......
