Windows 10: window xp home edition certificate of authenticity with product code missing

i have an old dell laptop c600 that originally had windows xp professional 1 on it. i installed windows xp home edition on it some time ago. the hard disk failed and i got a new one and tried to install windows xp home edition on it and when it gets to the page where i have to enter the product code the product code on the back of the computer for xp professionsl 1 won't work so with out my xp home edition certificate of authencity with the product code on it i can't proceed.

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

What if I remove the write permissions for authenticated users for client CMG certificate?

Hello Guys,

Ad CS vulnerabilities.

• IntuneClientCertificate -> ESC1:
  "Domain Users" can enroll with the CA and specify the "Subject Alternative Name". Therefore, a user can request a client authenticate certificate, specifying a DA as the SAN, and have a certificate to impersonate the DA using the certificate for authentication.
  
• ClientCMGCert -> ESC4:
  "Authenticated Users" have full write permission over this certificate, and therefore, can modify ClientCMGCert to become vulnerable to ESC1 as above.
  

To Fix this can I go ahead and Edit the authenticated USers' permissions I..e., can I revoke the Authenticated user's (Enroll/Write).

If I do that will there will be any production issues?
