    Hi All,Hope you are doing well!My boss just experienced a strange situation.Whatever she types with keyboard on board keyboard or USB keyboard, it shows asterisks.She is using notebook computer with Windows11.It is checked that the situation is the same in Outlook, Notepad, Edge, input field of search function click on the Magnifying glass at the left bottom corner.It is checked that the input method is EnglishUS.Although it resumed normal after restart. We are afraid there is any potential trouble behind it.Any idea?Best regards,Ewing

    Asterisk problem

    Here are a few suggestions:

    • Try a borrowed USB keyboard.
    • Try the on-screen keyboard (osk.exe).
    • Check your language setting in Regional Settings. Did you select an input method that agrees with the installed language(s)?
