Windows 10: Windowapps directory permissions

Discus and support Windowapps directory permissions in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have been trying to install a new update to a program I installed through the microsoft store.     Windowapps directory permissions


    I have been trying to install a new update to a program I installed through the microsoft store. Sadly the program doesn't meet the minimum API requirements to be distributed through the store currently but I still want to have the current version I can download through the applications main webpage. My problem starts there being that all Microsoft store apps are installed directly into the Windowsapps directory and the permissions that go with that folder are restricted for security purposes. I claim ownership and obtain "full control" over the folder but still when attempting to delete or ch

    Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

    I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...
    • maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
    • Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
    • maybe you also add export list to excel?
    • there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
    • and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?
