    Windowes won't access my NAS

I cannot get this operating system to recognize my NAS.

It was working JUST FINE for months; I had the path mapped, and all of a sudden because the wind changed direction, windows now refuses to connect to it.

Windows can see it just fine in file explorer, but clicking on it displays the following error
Windowes won't access my NAS c78cbbfc-91fe-4945-b357-99f846cbc929?upload=true.png

I can access the NAS just fine via my browser and IP address, and my router can see that it is connected. The issue is NOT with the NAS or router.

    WTH is going on here!?!?!?

    :)

    Windows 10 & NAS Box

    Hi Peter,

A few possible reasons can cause this issue. To help us identify the cause of this problem, we would like to know the following information:

    • How is your NAS box connected to your computer? (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or USB)
    • Are you using a program provided by the manufacturer of your NAS box to access it?
    • Do you receive any error messages when accessing your NAS box? If yes, what is the exact error message?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you perform the solution provided by omiklik (Most Helpful Reply)
in the following thread: Unable to see NAS drive on Network - Win 10 PC.

Keep us updated on the status of the issue, and we will be glad to assist you further.

    Accessing NAS in windows 10

Hi. Have a Synology NAS ds211j. From My desktop computer running on Win 8.1 I can add My NAS as a net server. After upgrading my Surface Pro 2 to win 10, I see the NAS in my network and I can access it from my browser but it is not possible to connect to
    as a network resource.

Tried to connect as member or homegroup or as disconnected from homegroup. All other settings are the same as in windows 8 and I have also set up network sharing without password. Since I also want to use it as a printserver, which is no problem in win 8
I hope there is an answer.

Any suggestions on how to access the NAS on win 10?

    Larzzer

Actually, after todays upgrade, it work!
