Windows 10: Windows 10 100% Disk Usage - Dell Inspirion 5567

Hi,


I am using Dell laptop and i have noticed that Disk activity is showing 100% in task manager and slowing down my system every-time .



I tried fixing this by doing below :-



1. Sfc /Scannow – No integrity violation

2. chkdsk.exe /f /r – No bad sectors and corrupt files found

3. Windows search – Disabled under services.msc

4. Superfetch – Disabled under services.msc

5. Paging – Automatically managed by Windows

6. Cloud-based protection – Disabled under Windows Defender

7. Start up programs – Disabled excluding MS services

8. Microsoft Edge – Uninstalled.



Despite doing this still the disk activity lies between 65%-80%.



Please support in fixing this.

100% disk usage on dell inspirion laptop

Hi I have inspirion 5459 dell laptop.

i see on task manager almost permanently 100% disk usage which makes my laptop very very slow.

tried many things including disable search and fetch but nothing helped..

Disk Usage 100% in DELL , Windows 10

Hello ,

I recently purchased DELL inspiron with 4GB ram , HDD disk .

This pc has been running so slow since the begging , then I observed the disk usage which spins 100% , I cant Animate , open apps quickly , Run visual studio code properly, play high graphic games.

For information I have done almost all the suggested steps from internet , My last hope is Microsoft

I have taken these steps but still my pc had no change

1) disabling Superfetch , search

2) All drivers Updated

3) Set High performance

4) reinstalled Windows (2 times)

5) defragmentation ....etc

Please take this problem seriously this is my 3rd DELL Machine which has the same problem .

I have tried up to 30 steps but still my Disk usage is 100%.
