    Windows 10 100% disk usage - Isn't it the culprit just the 2004 update?


    I have been struggling for two weeks with a 100% usage. I have found this which explains that in fact Windows updates, in this case the last one, 2004, cause havoc on people's computer. I don't understand the issues but at least I am not crazy: it is Windows update, which conflicts with other software, computer hardware, etc.

    100% disk usage

    The most common cause of 100% disk usage appears to be Superfetch and Prefetch, but there are also other causes. You can try disabling both these features and see if it helps.
