Windows 10: Windows 10 100% Disk Usage on startup.

I know there are many people out there who have asked same question but everyone seemed to have different issues. I bought this laptop less then 3 months ago I am unable to use it because of that issue. The 100% Disk Usage occurs every time I start the laptop or restart it. It is been like this since day one. I made a deep research in the forum before I post this.


My laptop:

MSI - GF63 8RC

Microsoft Windows Home (64 bit)

Intel Core i7 -8750H - 2.20

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050


What I have done so far:


1. Disabled Windows Search

2. Deleted Skype.

3. I have never installed Chrome on this laptop.

4. Disabled SuperFetch service.

5. Updated all drivers.

6. Performed a disk check.

7. I reset my virtual memory.

8. I disabled my antivirus program temporarily.

9. I reboot the computer without any third parties applications ( I did this with a microsoft representative on the phone with me).

10. I disabled all start up programs.


and after all ... that issue still occurs.


Disk usage spikes to 100% every time computer is started and it takes at least 15-20 minutes for it to get normal (0-10).

Then suddenly from nothing it starts getting up again until 100% disk usage.

I had a presentation today, and the disk usage come up to 100% in the middle of it. It was so embarrassed in front of all this people.

I found a post in here where a representative of yours is saying that you guys have to know all the process in the task manager. I did that too actually.

Most of the process that are running and takes a lot of memory are Service Host Processes.


I have a list of all the processes if needed.
