    Windows 10 100% Disk Utilization only when Office installed


    One of my Windows 10 computers is very slow to respond. Disk performance is pegged at 100%. I've tried several "fixes" from this forum to no avail. The ONLY solution is when I un-install the Office suite. Disk then show normal performance. When I re-install, the disk again settles at 100%. This computer has 32GB of RAM, managed by Windows. This is not a swapping issue.

    Clean install, disk usage at 100%

    I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

    100% Disk Utilization on Windows 10

    I have read all the threads on 100% disk utilization for Windows 10 and don't know what else to do to solve the problem (plus some threads go on for 38 pages). It shouldn't be this hard; looking for some suggestions. Thanks!

    100% disk utilization

    Windows 10 Dell Laptop is always running very slow due to 100% disk utilization even at startup. Task manager shows Google Chrome as the biggest utilizer even though only the home page is up. It is very frustrating as the laptop came with Windows 8 which
    was running smoothly. Problem started once I upgraded to Windows 10. Is there any particular service I need to disable to avoid this 100% disk utilization all the time?
