Windows 10: Windows 10/11 hangs a fee minutes after booting

Hello all, i recently built a PC for my nephew and it worked great for a fee months. Unfortunately the past week it has not been working at all due to a consistent “hanging” issue. Here is the usual sequence.PC boots fine to the sign in screen. Put in pin and get the desktop. From there, i can open apps and use it like normal for 3-10 minutes at which point the issue starts. The system seems to freeze completely. I can move the cursor and when hovering over buttons it shows feed back. Clicking on apps/icons will highlight them and show feedback but nothing ever happens. Just done a fresh install of windows 10. Still got the same problem.
Turn pc on from cold or a restart. Hangs on the win boot logo for a minute or so then boots in to the desktop
cant work it out why its so slow to boot up? any ideas*Mad

To add to what @DRone said, W10 still does not seem to like power-saving features in BIOS, and doesn't seem to like the "fast start" option in Windows, which ironically makes it faster without that option.
