Windows 10: Windows 10/11 - Registry keys that affect Screen Lock

Hi guys,i have a question about the configuration of screen lock in Windows 10/11.I'd like to know which are the registry keys involved into the lock screen because i've an issue with my customer where i've applied the "device lock" setting by Intune and some devices seems not apply correctly the timeout applied of 10 minutes and instead their devices locks after 1 minute. I tried with Process Monitor to see which registry key is called but without success.Checking the keys that i found googling seems all correct 10 minutes 0xafor HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

• What is the edition of Windows 10 installed on the computer?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to disable the lock screen and check if it helps.

How to disable Lock screen on Windows 10 group policy:

If wanted to turn off lock screen pictures, then I suggest you to follow the steps below to turn off lock screen pictures through group policy editor.

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Type "gpedit.msc" without the quotes in the run box and hit on
Enter Key.

3. Then follow the path below:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization

4. Now on the right side, Double click that
Do not display the lock screen option.

5. Set the option as Enabled.

6. Click on Apply and then click on
Ok.

7. Close Group policy editor and restart your computer.

Note: The above steps is applicable to Windows 10 pro version.

• When you say that "It is not flapped over to password when clicking", you tried to check the issue by clicking through external mouse?
• Have you made any changes to the computer prior to the issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to change the picture of the lock screen and also try to update Display Adapter driver.

Step 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen pictures.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.

Step 2: I recommend you to update the latest driver for display adapter in Device Manager.

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Then type “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and hit on
Enter Key.

3. Expand Display Adapter.

4. Right click on the driver and click on Update driver software.
