Windows 10: Windows 10/11 Screen Projecting Disconnect when switching Desktops

Hi,I use my 2 in 1 laptop as an external monitor via screen projecting. I am utilizing the virtual "desktops" with this setup, so that the projecting of the external display occurs on another "virtual" desktop. This allows me to switch between using the laptop normally let's say desktop 1, and using it as a monitor desktop 2.The issue is, when I'm using the projecting "monitor" desktop 2 with the laptop, and then switch to the "main" non projected laptop desktop 1, this disconnects the projecting. When I go back to the "monitor" desktop 2, it is disconnected and I have to reconnect. And

Projecting to a second screen

• Do you have a graphics control panel? You can see this by right-clicking on your desktop and see if it's listed in the context menu.
• Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting your larger screen?
• Have you tried updating your display driver?

Screen Projection

I have a Dell Inspiron 11. Recently I upgraded to Windows 10. Prior to the upgrade I was able to project my computer screen to my Samsung HDTV using Netgear Push2TV without a problem Since the upgrade, I am able to wirelessly connect to the TV as indicated
by the computer. However, the screen remains black. But, I noticed my white arrow curser will appear on the screen, when I move the curser to the far right, which indicates that my projection mode setting is on extended screen. When I attempt to switch
screen projection mode, I am automatically disconnected from the TV. I then need to restart the connection, and the same thing happens. How can I fix this?

 

Project Second screen constantly appearing.

• what is the exact issue that you want us to help with? Do you want to get help in projecting a second screen or to remove the popup?
• As you've said " I tried unsuccessfully to project a screen", do you wish to project a second screen currently?
• What happened exactly when you tried to project a second screen? Did you receive any error message or any error code?

The popup comes as the system might not be able to detect the monitors. I suggest you to update the Display drivers, it may force the system to detect the available monitors. Here is the steps:

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Locate the driver and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
