Windows 10: Windows 10/11 will not allow connection to public wifi w/ gateway login in page

I have a new Windows 11 laptop that I travel with. Some of the hotels I stay at have a wifi network that is public. When I connect, a browser page is supposed to open and then I enter username and password. I am blocked from this page.I have completely turned off the firewall windows defender and still it reports it is blocking this page from opening. I have also turned off the anti-virus.I have reset network adapters and ran the trouble shooter.I cannot get anything to resolve this issue.I have to plug my cell phone in via usb to use the internet.Can someone enlighten me? Public WiFi login page not showing in Windows 10

None of these things worked for me. Nothing. Tried the uninstall. No internet. Tried the http:// thing, no internet login page. Nothing. I never used to have a problem until the installed the latest update, which took forever about a week ago. Now,
I can't get a login page for any public wifi. Why do some of these suggestions for work for people but not for me? I don't get it. I've run a diagnostics, that's a waste of time.

Any other suggestions? I do not have a hot spot with my phone, so I need to access public wifi when I can.

 

Unable to connect public Wifi login page

No problem to connect wifi in other public areas.

But in a specific hotel, my laptop (window 8) able to detect the wifi so when I connect, the login page popup but "blank" - only show the logo of the internet company. so i am not able to connect the wifi.

Nobody at hotel understands why other guests can use their wifi but only my laptop can't, and I tried to google to find the solution.....

would you please help me how to fix the problem? Thanks.

 

Public WiFi login page not showing in Windows 10

This doesn't work because it requires that I already be connected to the internet.

I am able to connect to the Wireless Access Point (WAP), but I don't get prompted to log in to the network. When I am already connected to the internet through a friends mobile hotspot, it says I am connected but when my friend's hotspot is not available
and I try to connect through the public WiFi I again connect to the WAP but I never see the Public WiFi log in screen nor does Windows prompt me to log in to use the public WiFi. I have tried this with Firefox, Edge and Internet Explorer. None of them trigger
the required Public WiFi log in screen.

Note, my Android cell phone does not have this problem only my Windows 10 laptop.
