    windows 10 1511 update need help!!


    trying to upgrade my windows 10 via windows update,it has failed many times now iam thinking of using the other ways to upgrade soIf I was to use media creation tool or iso clean install method would I need my activation key? This is because my computer came with windows 8.1 pre-installed. If I do need my activation key, is there a way for me to get it?

    Directx 12 install

    You need a minimum of Windows 10 build 1511 to be eligible for dx 12 update.

    All you need do is update your windows to 1511 build, and you'll have dx 12.

    I recently had to restore my windows 10 from an earlier backup and that's when this started. How do I resolve the windows update

    The windows update has not worked since that time.
