Windows 10: Windows 10 1709 color settings

We are applying in Enterprise environment default background settings via GPP - HKCU\Control Panel\Colors:


Value name = Background

Value type - REG_SZ

Value data = 0 99 177 (blue color)


It worked fine and after first logon user got blue background theme. Starting with version 1709, settings are applied only to HKCU\.Default account - 0 99 177, but it's not copied out at first logon to new user. So finally, every new user is getting black background at first logon (Value data = 0 0 0).

However during next logon, user is getting correct settings: Value data = 0 99 177


What had been changed between W10 versions?

Creative X-Fi Soundcards and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 = Complete Disaster / Not Working

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.
