Windows 10: Windows 10 (1803 and above) why WiFi disabled after sleep - with Solution!

I had this weird problem after clean format and install Windows 10(1809) my WiFi driver seems disabled and driver is missing after wake up from sleep or hibernation. used Win10 1709 before had no problem of waking up computer from sleep or hibernation and my Wifi still working as ussual. Searched for answers in Google and tried lots of configuration settings and nothing works from reinstalling drivers to BIOS wireless configuration and firmware update.


It turns out, the real culprit that contributes to this issue is Windows 10 Radios Privacy settings - Allow Apps to control Radios(Wifi and Bluetooth)!!! Not sure how it is related but it sure solved my problem. So here is the real question, it solves my problem and might helped others, but why is that Privacy setting for Radios can cause this problem? A bug? By default the setting for apps access to control Radios WiFi amd Bluetooth in the Privacy is set to Enabled or Allowed. So, i disabled it and did the test to sleep or hibernate then wakes up again, the WiFi is still running and Enabled! But why this setting can cause such issue even after a clean install?

Windows 10 wifi solution for hp

I believe to have found an easy solution to the wifi problem after the upgrade to windows 10 on my hp laptop.

I just shut down windows and then booted the quick web, and then enabled wifi via the quick web.

I then shut down quick web and logged in to windows and my wifi works perfectly.

I suggest you follow these simply steps if you're unable to toggle your wifi on with your hp.

1. Boot quick web and toggle wifi on

2. Switch back to windows and you should see wifi enabled.

Windows 10 -- Cannot disable the mouse from waking computer from sleep

Method 1

Follow the steps below to try to disable device to wake the computer:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.

  Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

  Type powercfg –devicedisablewake and press
  Enter.

  Restart the computer and check if issue persists.
  

Method 2: Disable the Wake timers

Follow the steps below to Disable the Wake timers:

  Press Windows key +X.
  
• 
  Click on Power Options.
  
• 
  Click on edit Plan Settings and click on
  Change advanced power settings.
  
• 
  Expand Sleep option and “Allow wake timers" and set this to
  disable.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if issue persists.
