    Windows 10 1803 update to 1809 failed (stuck at 77%)


    Hi,


    I would like to use the Windows 10 Update Assistant update my Windows 10 1803 to 1809. After downloading, installing then the computer rebooted (Everything is fine till now).


    After rebooting it stucked at 77%, after 8 hrs stucking at 77% the update process stopped and went back to 1803. I tried update three times, every time it stucked at 77%.


    (During updating I disconnected every external devices and closed internet connection)


    I would like to know what happened at 77% and how to solve this problem.


    I found a file in the folder "Windows10Upgrade" the name is "upgrader_default.log". It may contain some information. Or should I upload some other files?

    (The update started at 0 am, but the file only started recording at 04:12 am, which makes me a little bit confused)

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    update stuck at 77%

    Since the issue still persists, we suggest removing the Internet connection on your computer. Try again to turn on the computer.

    If the Windows update still got stuck at 77%, try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del see if it helps.

    Get back to us with the outcome so we can help you out further.

    Windows 10 1803 update to 1809 failed (stuck at 77%)

    Windows 10 ISO 1803 and 1809 stuck at 10% installation! Updates in Win 10 Pro X64 freezes!

    I try to upgrade from 1709 to 1809 direct is that possible?

    But all fail and stuck, hang and freez the system every time i try to upgrade, to 1803 or 1809.

    It treat on updates and specialy cumulative updates my system like a virus.

    Any suggestion or help or information that help to solve my problem are very welcome.
