    Windows 10 - 1809 vs 1803


    I have an older desktop and an older laptop both which are 1803 and if I go to update to check for new updates it says the computers are up to date. I also bought a new HP 2 in 1 Laptop a coupke of weeks ago and it is also at 1803 and says it is up to date however a friend says his is at 1809 and I had a friend drop off an older laptop for me to install some software and his is also at 1809. Can someone explain why mine say they are up to date with 1803 and how I can get the 1809 update when update says I am already up to date?

    Win 10 1803 to 1809 update

    Good day one and all.

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1809 a while back, but my laptop/notebook running Win 10 version 1803 (As of a Check for updates today 15 Nov 2018 6:30 AM) still hasn't updated to 1809.

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1809 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Updates in general on the laptop are coming through as available, for example, yesterday (14th Nov 2018) the "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1803 for x64 based Systems (KB4467702)" arrived and was installed okay.

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 - 1803 to 1809

    Hi,

    Last week I downloaded 64 bit ISO from Microsoft site, I got 1803 version image only,

    I heard Microsoft released windows 10 - 1809, if yes then where to download 1809 ISO

    and I installed 1803 image which I downloaded and also activated product online ,

    now question is

    Will I get 1809 update automatically ? if yes then how ?

    or do I need to get 1809 image and install my OS again? if yes, where can I download windows 10?
