Windows 10: Windows 10 1903 update fails to install because spinning dots immediately freezes on...

I am having problem while installing Windows 10 1903 update on my Asus A541UV-DM978 Laptop.

Laptop is currently running on Windows 10 Pro 1803 OS Build 17134.950.

I have updated all my drivers to latest version as well as my BIOS version is also latest as provided by the manufacturer.

I have tried to install 1903 update several times through windows update as well as from media creation tool but all times it gets failed.

• When using windows update, 1903 update is downloaded and installed 100% but when i restart my Laptop the spinning dots on the windows logo boot screen immediately freezes and nothing happens afterward. I have waited for more than 30 minutes but still nothing.
• When using Media Creation Tool, downloading and installation gets 100% completed but the same thing happens after i restart my Laptop i.e. spinning dots on the windows logo boot screen immediately freezes and nothing happens afterward.

I searched on internet for solution but nothing worked. That's why i am posting this question.


I am now believing that 1903 update have some kind of issue.


Please help me to resolve this problem.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

spinning dots

After an automatic update I am constantly getting the spinning dots during streaming to Hulu. Pausing and freezing was bad before but this is horrible. I am not very good at computers and have read other info in the community about the dots but I don't
understand most of what the solutions mean so if anyone has a suggestion please speak very simple computer dummy....

 

Windows 10 freeze at spinning dots

Hi all,

I am currently having a problem when trying to install clean windows 10 from USB boot or upgrade win 10 to 1809 from 1803.

Both have same issues cant boot to windows and my laptop freezes at the loading spinning dots screen. and the update process was not successful and system rolled back to version 1803 after hard reset.

Please provide a solution how to fix this
